Our four-year vision (and beyond)

Our vision is a Delta where residents once again have confidence in their local government. A Delta where families, businesses, farmers and tourists can thrive in a community that is financially responsible, thoughtfully planned, and shaped by the people who call it home.

Over four years, we will work to restore trust through open and accountable government, ensuring residents have a meaningful voice in the decisions that affect their neighbourhoods and their future.

We envision a city that lives within its means, where every tax dollar is spent wisely, long-term financial planning guides investment, and transparency is the standard.

Our neighbourhoods will continue to reflect the unique character that makes Delta special. Growth will be planned carefully, with housing choices that meet the needs of young families, seniors, and local workers while respecting existing communities and ensuring infrastructure keeps pace.

We will strengthen public safety by supporting our first responders, improving emergency preparedness, and investing in active transportation connections that make it easier and safer to move throughout Delta.

Delta will become once again, a strong voice at regional decision-making tables. We will advocate for the interests of our community, demand accountability from regional organizations, and ensure Delta has a seat at the table when decisions affect our residents, environment, and economy.

Most importantly, we want residents to feel proud of their local government again: to know their voices matter, their concerns are heard, and their elected officials are working every day to put the people of Delta First.
